Football Club, Tottenham, have matched the £15M Chelsea bid on Fernando Llorente. They made a £15M offer to Swansea City striker. The Blues, Chelsea, have also targetted the Swansea City striker. However, with Tottenham in the race, it is difficult for Chelsea to grab Llorente.
Chelsea are already down after missing out the opportunity to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. With this, they could face some difficulties in the transfer window deadline, which is Thursday. They would, therefore, want to sign Llorente.
However, Swansea are still working on finding a perfect replacement for the Spanish Striker. They soften on their chances of retaining the striker, however, they still believe that they can steal a deal on their rivals.
Antonio Conte is looking forward to playing with the Spanish as they both were together in Juventus as well. Now, it will be interesting to see which club Llorente chooses to play.
This deal will be very important for Chelsea considering that they missed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He is looking to join Liverpool on a £35m deal. He rejected the Blues as soon as they started with the contract talks.
Furthermore, Chelsea are eyeing Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater. He handed the transfer request to force through a move.
