A legend, a boxing legend is what Floyd Mayweather is. Floyd Money Mayweather defeated Connor Mcgregor to maintain his winning streak. Also, this is Mayweather’s 50th win of his career.
The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Connor Mcgregor lasted for ten rounds.
The Irish got off to a flier with series of punches and kicks, thus getting him some early points. With the first round moving, both of them showed offence, but Connor had the upper hand over the veteran. The second round was like a mirror image of the first round with Connor having the edge over Floy Mayweather.
In the third round, Connor Mcgregor received a warning as he illegally threw a punch on top of Floyd Mayweather’s head. However, even in round three, Connor McGregor was the favourite when the bell rang. In the fourth round, early on, Connor had the upper hand, but Mayweather showed some confidence at the end of the round.
However, that was not the end of the undefeated veteran. Not sure if it was Connor’s offence or Mayweather’s brilliance which gave Connor momentum in the first four rounds.
In the next two rounds, Mayweather threw punches and blows, causing Connor McGregor to tire down. In the seventh round, Floyd finally started heavy blows and landed with him a hard left hook. The eighth round was the same with Mayweather throwing punches and Connor still showing signs of a fightback.
In the ninth round, Connor seemed worn down, and the American blew some hard punches. However, the Irishman survived the round.
You cannot delay the inevitable, can you? In the final round, Mayweather went for the kill, and the referee came in between the fight, thus announcing him as the winner of the fight.
