Copa America – 1st semi finals review, results and scores


This year, the 46th edition of the Copa America will take place in summer as South America’s best teams fight it an out for the crown.

The Heavyweights of the football such as Argentina and Brazil will now lock horns, as well as the most successful team of the tournament, Uruguay.

While being with some of the best players in the world on display, like Lionel Messi, this boasts a unique allure, with the continent’s Joga Bonito philosophy which is strongly imbued.

Argentina also delivered a much-improved performance to beat Venezuela 2-0 in the Copa América quarter-finals, and it is also shown to set up a mouth-watering meeting with Brazil.

Lautaro Martínez scored for the second game which put Argentina in front in the 10th minute with a smart back-heeled finish from Sergio Agüero. In this year 2019 Copa America got underway on the 14th of June and it is also said to run for three weeks until the final on the 7th of July.

Sergio Aguero also hit the bar with a header in the first half for Argentina. And Lionel Messi hit the post eleven minutes into the 2nd period

The Group games are said to finish on the 24th of June, and there will also be a three-day break before knockout fixtures are played from the 27th of June. Now Brazil will host the 2019 edition of the tournament, and now it will be their 1st time staging it since the year 1989.

It will be the 5th time the Copa America is now being held in Brazil, with this country previously hosting in the years 1919, 1922 and 1949, as well as 1989.
